Be retarded with mornings, routines and work

Don't "win your mornings". Live them.

It's 5 am.

You're standing barefoot on the grass.

Staring into the sun.

Journaling and mediating while doing handstands.

And rubbing raw liver on your balls.

…or something along those lines.

You're really doing it all.

The gurus told you this is the formula to "WiN tHe mOrNiNgS".

But what if I told you that you get:

  • more productive

  • more fulfilled

  • happier

when you let go of morning routines or the idea of "productive" mornings in general.

I've tried it all over the last year or so:

  • autistic Huberman-type morning routines

  • minimalistic Hormozi-type morning routines

But what actually worked and improved my life, wasn't a morning routine at all.

Here's what a good morning for me looks like:

  • wake up without an alarm

  • take a shit

  • get out of bed

  • pray

  • drink some water

  • sit around a bit

  • shitpost on X

  • put some good vibe music on

  • make a coffee

  • write a bit

  • drink an enhanced Apfelschorle (my signature drink)

  • do some pushups

  • juggle a bit

  • write more

  • vibe more

A slow, chill morning.

No pressure. No stress. No routine. No "work".

Just vibes, energy, play and fun.

The secret is to retardmaxx your mornings.

Don't do what anyone told you to do. Do what's right for you. DO what you feel like doing. Don't force shit. Listen to your gut.

Having a good-vibe, high-energy morning sets you up for a great day.

Running after tasks or habits in the morning puts you in a semi-stressed, slave mindset for the day.

Chill the fuck out.

You have time.

Do whatever you want.

Return to play. Return to that child-like state of curiosity and energy.

  • Wake up

  • Walk around a bit

  • Do random things

  • Chill a bit

Maybe the super strict David Goggins morning routine works for you. Then keep doing them.

But don't do them just for the sake of it.

Do what serves you. What gets you closer to your dream. What's fun.

But try everything out.

Next time, have a slow morning.

  • Wake up with the sun

  • Walk around a bit

  • Have a cup of coffee

  • Put on good music

  • Do what you feel like doing

Try it out. It might be the thing that really gets your life to the next level.

You don't need more control.

You need more connection with yourself.

Retardmaxxing = play

Play = productivity that actually feels good.

Break the routines

try out what your gut tells you to do

and see what sticks

Retardmaxx your mornings.
